Artistic Mission Statement:
As an artist, I observe the values, expectations, and boundaries held by the western dance world and explore how to push them into new artistic ventures, full of questions. I utilize unexpected concepts, sounds, and movements to reveal to viewers wider possibilities within western dance. My works allow partakers to embrace their active role in the performance experience and consider where they fit into the values and expectations established within the western dance world. I work to cultivate ways to blend and experiment with dance and mixed media to expand the definitions and expectations of dance and art.
